A panic attack is a brief period of intense anxiety in which you feel you will die or loose your reason. At first these attacks are unpredictable but, eventually, they become associated with certain places, such as a crowded bus. The physical symptoms are those of anxiety and may in particular include over breathing (hyperventilation).

Constitutional diagnosis is important for those who suffer regular panic attacks for no apparent reason.
