A major problem caused by flying to faraway destinations is jetlag. Travel through different time zones confuses the body's natural day/night rhythm and cab result in tiredness, loss of concentration and general disorientation over when to eat or sleep. The following remedies should help to ease the confusion and exhaustion:

|Arnica - Dazed, slow reactions. Over tired, aches and feels bruised all over. Unable to sleep because of body aching: the bed feels too hard.' Hot head with cold body. Wants to be left alone. Thirsty. May also have a disordered stomach with wind (flatulence) smelling of bad eggs.|
|Cocculus - After long haul night flights where patient has not slept and is nauseous and dizzy. Heaviness, weakness, limbs may go to sleep and tingle. Slow comprehension. Oversensitive. Sleepless from mental or physical exhaustion.|
|Gelsemium - made from yellow jasmine, was known in folklore as glass coffin because the patient who needs this remedy is able to comprehend everything mentally, but is simultaneously unable to move due to physical exhaustion. Confused. Increased urination. Lack of thirst. Dizziness, as if drunk. Heavy eyelids. Feel like they have flu. Jerks awake on first falling asleep. Chills up and down the spine.
