Exposure to high temperatures, particularly with high humidity, may lead to this condition. Early symptoms are headache, dizziness, nausea and lassitude. This may quickly lead on to muscle cramps, convulsions, collapse and coma. As well as using Homeopathic treatment, first-aid procedures should be carried out to cool the patient.

Heatstroke has been treated by homeopathy.

Heatstroke requires detailed specific prescribing of the "right" homeopathic remedy.

Trial and error or shotgun prescribing does not work, and therefore we don't recommend self-medication. In fact, self-medication will complicate the overall symptom picture.

Homeopathic Treatment Considerations:

Belladonna - The illness is of sudden inset, with burning, hot, dry skin, dilated pupils and a feeling of delirium.
Bryonia - Severe headache, which is worse ion attempting to move or even sit up.
Cuprum metallicum - Severe muscle cramps happen at the same time as the heatstroke.
Colonoinum - A throbbing headache with a hot red face and generalized sweating.
